What this site is, how often it publishes, and who the person behind it is. If what you need is a tax question or a delivery question, the site that carries the work is the better place to ask it, and both are linked at the bottom.
About this site
- What is this site?
- The personal site of Khaled Hawari, who most people call Kal. It is about the person rather than about a business: it carries his essays, his career record and a contact form, and it sells nothing. There is no service list on it and no price on any page.
- How is it different from khaledhawari.ca and kodelytics.ca?
- Those two are businesses and this one is a person. khaledhawari.ca is the tax and accounting practice: personal and corporate tax returns, monthly bookkeeping, strategic and financial planning, and CRA-compliant cryptocurrency reporting, run remotely for clients across Canada. kodelytics.ca is Kodelytics Inc., which does technical delivery leadership, paid media operations, analytics implementation and reporting infrastructure. Anything you would hire someone for belongs on one of those two. This is where he writes.
- How often do new essays appear?
- One a day, on the morning the essay is dated and not before. They are written and dated well ahead of time, so the rest arrive one at a time rather than in a batch.
- Who writes them?
- He does. They are his own writing, published under his own name, and they belong to no client and no company. The scheduling pipeline in this site exists so that he can write to a rhythm; it is not there to be filled by a machine.
- Does this site collect anything about me?
- Almost nothing. There is no analytics script, no advertising tag, no embedded video and no third-party font, and no cookie of any kind is set. Every asset, including both typefaces, is served from this domain. The exception is the contact form, which posts to Formspree and is described in full on the privacy page.
About the person
- What does he do for a living?
- Two things at once. He is a tax and financial consultant, running the practice at khaledhawari.ca remotely for clients across Canada, and he is a Senior Technical Project Manager at Render Analytics. His background is corporate accounting, including IFRS 15 and IFRS 16 work, and the delivery half of the career came after the finance half rather than instead of it.
- What is Kodelytics?
- Kodelytics Inc., an Ontario company he founded in February 2026 and runs as its president. It does technical delivery leadership, paid media operations, analytics implementation and reporting infrastructure for agencies and mid-market operators across Canada and the United States. It is a separate business from the tax practice and is engaged separately.
- What languages does he work in?
- English, French and Arabic, all three at a native or bilingual level. A message sent through the contact form can be written in any of them and will be answered in the same one.
- Does he hold a professional accounting designation?
- No, and this site will never imply otherwise. He is not a CPA. He trained in accounting, took a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting at the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa, and spent years in public practice and then in corporate finance before moving into delivery. - Can I hire him through this site?
- Not through this one. It publishes no service list, no rates and no booking form, deliberately. Tax and accounting work is quoted and engaged at khaledhawari.ca; delivery, paid media and analytics work at kodelytics.ca. Each has its own intake and its own rates, so going there directly gets a faster answer. The form on this site reaches him personally and is the right place for anything that is about him rather than about hiring one of the businesses.
